Shabbat in the Hood: potluck, focusing on the Divine Feminine.
1 Hannabrook Lane, Montague, MA
Rabbi Efraim and Kohenet Tiana invite you to a joyous, ecstatic, Earth based mystical Shabbat service at Goddess Mountain filled with song, prayer and dance. This Shabbat falls in between the sadness of Tisha B'Av and the great love of Tu B'Av, a holiday for lovers.Together we will greet the Shechinah, the Sabbath bride. We look forward to celebrating with you and having a pot luck, vegetarian (dairy) kiddish afterward. (Directions to Goddess Mountain below).
Goddess Mountain is in Montague, Massachusetts off Route 63. At the intersection of Swamp Road, Dry Hill Road and Route 63 take Dry Hill Road east for 1 mile (crossing over the RR tracks) and then make your first left onto Hannabrook Road crossing over a wooden bridge. In 1/4 mile make your first left through the gates for 1 Hannabrook Lane. Bring flashlights and bug spray.
We appreciate donations for these Shabbat in the Hood events. We will also be creating a membership and a scrip program shortly.
